Charlie Grenham the leprechaun has decided to get more generous with his wealth! If you purchase a map from his basket, it will give you a drawing he made of a location where a pot of gold is hidden. The maps are a bit crude, however, so it may take some work!
A few things to note: if you touch the map, it will chat to you the region that the drawing depicts. Also, there may be a clue in the drawing as to where the actual pot is located, once you arrive in the right area.
For those that remember, this was an event quest from some years ago, and we’ve revamped it to run continuously. As with the Rabbit Rescue quest, you’ll be able to find Leprechaun Gold via this quest year-round, but only during certain parts of the year will prizes in Piper’s machine be available for purchase with the coins. Prizes will always come back around, though, so don’t throw away that Leprechaun Gold!
Summary:
Year-Round Map Hunt – Use Gold Coins or Stamina to purchase treasure maps that Charlie has hand-drawn. There are 25 randomized maps and each depicts a crude drawing of a specific spot somewhere in the 5 regions. If you can find that spot and wave your wand, a pot of gold should rise up, rewarding you with anywhere from 5 to 50 Leprechaun Gold.
Seasonal Prizes – During March only, there are some rare textures available in Piper’s Prize Machine which can be purchased with the Leprechaun Gold.
Seasonal Treat Quest – During March only, you can find Stamina-building treat drinks scattered over the 5 regions. They’re hidden in random objects and decor, you just need to touch the right thing to find the drink.
As part of our ongoing PBR mesh updates to our items and regions, we’re experimenting with a set of ranking trophy plaques at the landing domes. Currently they do auto-update, but only show the #1 position; we aim to make them interactive so that you can scroll through the top 10 of each category. Our goal is also to eventually release them as an item you can have on your own land.
*Note: We’re aware that currently the hybrid races are not represented (as well as many other possible ranking categories), and we’re working on where / how to display those so that everyone is represented fairly. Again, these plaques are beta / being iterated ongoing, and of course feel free to submit a ticket with suggestions if you have them!
Thanks for your patience as we roll these updates out, and happy hunting!
*UPDATE 2/24/25*
There are plaques now at all the domes, which cover all the races. Hybrids have their plaques split between the two regions that represent the two hybridized races. Also, the left / right arrows on the plaques can navigate among the top 10 players in each category, with optional timers that will eventually return the plaque to display the #1 position. We don’t have these plaques for sale just yet, but after we’ve tested them out at the dome landings for a while, we’ll make them available to you!
