We’re excited to announce the next official grid-wide Bloodlines event — The Haunted Tour 2026!

We’re getting a slightly late start this year, so we’ve decided to extend Spooky Season! (November is a boring month anyway, right?)

The Haunted Tour kicks off today, October 16th, and runs through November 15th! We’ll be giving away a combined total of L$10,000 worth of containers to the winners, so we want to see your very best spooky decorating! If you’d like a chance to win, be sure to check out the contest guidelines at the end of this post.

What Is the Haunted Tour?

The Haunted Tour is an event for anyone who wants to show off their haunted houses, dungeons, clubs, bars, and other spooky creations in celebration of the Halloween season. Anyone who owns a Bloodlines Haunt can opt in, and anyone with a Bloodlines HUD can participate in the tour!

What Does This Mean for Bloodlines Players?

Throughout the event, we’ll be connecting participating Haunts through the Bloodlines website and HUDs, making it easy to travel from one haunted location to the next. It’s a great opportunity to explore spooky destinations, meet up with fellow players, and discover new Bloodlines-friendly places across the grid.

If you don’t already own a Haunt and would like to participate as a location, you can pick one up at our stores [here].

What Does This Mean for Haunt Owners?

This is your chance to put your Haunt on the map!

The Haunted Tour is designed to bring new visitors to participating locations, while giving Haunt owners an opportunity to connect and network with other Bloodlines-friendly establishments.

Players will be able to vote for their favorite Haunts, with prizes awarded to the winners at the end of the event!

Mars Bracken, Lyle Maeterlinck, Liquid Designs Resident, and other Bloodlines officials will also be visiting participating locations to help with the final judging of the top Haunts. We look forward to seeing what you’ve created!

Voting

Voting will open now and run through November 13th.

To cast your vote, simply visit the profile of a participating Haunt and click the “Vote” link next to the Haunted Tour icon.

So get decorating, get exploring, and help us make this year’s Haunted Tour a spooky celebration to remember!

Prizes (Awarded at the end of the Tour):

A picture of your haunt immortalized on the prize container texture! Gold, Silver and Bronze get their own textures, and Runners-Up will be on a texture together.

Haunted Tour Participation Rare: Given to anyone who opted-in their location to the event, awarded at the end of the month (limit one per avatar).

Getting involved is simple:

Location Owners – If you already have a Haunt, just log into your profile, Edit Haunts, and opt-in via the radio button for the Haunted Tour Event. Make sure to use the Haunt Events calendar to schedule specific times for your events.

Bloodlines players – The Haunted Tour will automatically generate locations in your HUD, under the Haunt button. We’ll also make it clear on the website which locations are participating, so you should be able to easily find the next great location to visit!

Rules and Guidelines:

All locations opted-in will receive the Participation Rare at the end of the contest. However, a few things to think about when trying for prizes are:

1. Store Haunts – If your store is decorated and the haunt is part of the decor it will be considered. Non-decorated stores will not be considered for top prizes.
2. Clan Land / Other Haunts – If your family location does not have any event-specific decor, it will not be considered for top prizes.

Judging is subjective and will focus on quality, sticking to the spooky / haunted theme, and also ease of access. If the area you’re looking to share with the Bloodlines community is difficult to find / hard to access from the Haunt landing, that will affect your ability to earn a top prize.

We’re so pleased to announce the winners and honorable mentions of our 2026 Fresh Blood Tour Contest. People got super creative with their entries, and it was hard to judge. 2. SEASON LENGTH OF 6 WEEKS – Checkpoints must be completed during this time to earn rewards, and rewards must be collected prior to the end.
3. SEASON VAULT TEXTURES – The 2nd-to-last checkpoint in the season offers a variety of Legacy / previous season rare textures. 

You earn points for doing challenges, the points increase a progress bar, and when you reach checkpoints you unlock rewards. Both Bloodlines and Legends activities are included in the challenges. The rewards can include: Bloodlines / Legends Products, Metrics, Resources, Rare Goods and Gift Cards.

We’re excited for another grid-wide event – The Bloodlines Fresh Blood Tour!

This is a unique tour we haven’t done before, giving you a chance to voice your opinion on what race Bloodlines should add next. By decorating your land in a way that illustrates your passion (for zombies, elves, merfolk, or whatever race you love), you can demonstrate your excitement to the community, and potentially influence what race Bloodlines releases next!

• The Fresh Blood Tour starts now and runs through Sept 24th.
• The awards party will be held Sept 26th. There’ll be live DJs, raffles, Best Attire giveaways, and more!

Starting today, we’ll be connecting participating Haunts via the website and the HUDs, so you can easily travel from event to event, while discovering new Bloodlines-friendly locations. Bloodlines judges will be visiting participating locations to help with the final choosing of the top Haunts.

For Haunt owners, this event means a chance to raise awareness of your clan land, club, bar, or RP area. The Tour will provide an influx of new visitors, as well as give you a chance to network with other Bloodlines friendly locations. Players will be able to vote on their favorite Haunts up until Sept 24th, when voting will close so we have enough time to make final judgements before the party.

To vote on your favorite Haunts, all you need to do is press the ‘Vote’ link next to the Tour icon on the profile of participating haunts. These tallied votes will be combined with voting by the judges to determine the winners.

*It will be possible to win a prize without necessarily theming toward the next race Bloodlines releases. IE, we’ll be awarding prizes based on how awesome the locations are; if the most awesome location is themed toward Ducks, the location can win a prize even if it’s eventually decided that the next Bloodlines race will be Elves.

We’re so pleased to announce the winners and honorable mentions of our 2026 Gallery Tour Contest. There were many wonderful entries this year, and it was difficult to make final decisions. Thanks to everyone who participated! Within the next few days, textures will delivered automatically to your Rare Library, as well as the prizes for the winners.

Also, we’re trying something new this year: we’ve handed out mesh Trophies to the winners and Honorable Mentions. If you’re wearing a Legends HUD and you touch one of these trophies, you’ll get a ‘Gallery Gold’ coin (max one a day) which can be spent in the Prize Machine toward a commemorative 18th Anniversary Chest Texture.

Note: The Gallery owners are not obligated to put their trophies out, and the coin-giving function will eventually pause until the next Gallery Tour.

• The Anniversary party will be held May 23rd. There’ll be live DJs, raffles, Best Attire giveaways, and more!
• The Anniversary Haunt Tour starts now and runs through Saturday June 5th. We’ll announce the winners at the Thor party on June 6th.

Starting today, we’ll be connecting participating Haunts via the website and the HUDs, so you can easily travel from event to event, while discovering new Bloodlines-friendly locations. Bloodlines judges will be visiting participating locations to help with the final choosing of the top Haunts.

The Anniversary Gallery Tour will provide an influx of new visitors, as well as give you a chance to network with other Bloodlines friendly locations. Players will be able to vote on their favorite Haunts up until Thursday June 5th, when voting will close so we have enough time to make final judgements before the party.

*Although this is a Gallery Tour and we encourage you to display your rare textures, your space doesn’t have to be a bona fide gallery – it could be a dungeon or a room in your house, or any place you like to show off your collection. Also, to win you don’t necessarily need to have the largest collection of Rares – judging will include looking at the style and atmosphere of the place, organization, etc.
