We’re happy to announce an update to the vials! They’re mesh, lower prim weight, shrink smaller to fit more avatars and are more easily editable. Also, by popular request we’re releasing a 10 Pack at a discounted price.

In addition, we’re having a promotion: anyone who purchases a 10 Pack during November will receive a Limited Edition tank or prism texture. After you’ve razzed your crate, the texture will automatically show up in your Tank or Iron Prism texturing menu (the “Texture” button, under “Limited”). You will only receive one per purchase, so apply and use them wisely! At the end of the month when the promotion ends, these textures will no longer be available from us in any form.

Finally, at the end of the month we’re giving a Rare “Crown” tank texture to the top 5 Blood Vial Collectors and Lumen Vial Collectors. These textures will also not be available in any form after the promotion, so there will only be 10 (5 prism and 5 tank) Vial Crown textures in SL, ever. The top achievers can be tracked on the appropriate page in the Achievements Guide for Blood and Lumens. Good luck!

*** Clarification Update: If there is a multi-way tie for any of the contests, still only 5 winners will be chosen. Ties will be broken by random number / dice rolls until 5 winners are picked.

HUD Updates Today

Sunday, March 6th, 2016

Today, everyone should get auto-delivered a new version of the Thirst, Human, and Rage HUDs. The new versions are 4.21 for the Thirst and 2.21 for the Rage and Human. In order to get an auto-update, just reattach your HUD. If you don’t receive an auto-update, you can get an update at any Liquid Designs update terminal in-world.

This is a minor update to fix a memory issue that recently emerged. If you had been getting Stack-Heap Collision errors while using your radar, this update fixes that error. If you aren’t encountering this problem, feel free to continue using your current version.

You don’t need to update your fangs, claws, bite marks, or claw wounds.

The versions of the fangs, claws, bite marks, and claw wounds remain the same, and the versions in the 4.21/2.21 have not changed from 4.2/2.2. The only thing that changed in the new crate is the HUD.

This means, you can keep using all the same items that you have been using except for the HUDs. If you have custom animations in your fangs, claws, bite marks, or claw wounds, you can keep using them as-is. An easy way to make this update in your inventory is to just drag your fangs, claws, bite marks, or claw wounds into your new 4.21/2.21 folder. There is no need to copy any animations or inventory into a new version of the fangs / claws / bite marks / claw wounds.

If you have any questions about this, please comment on this post, or ask Lyle Maeterlinck in-world. Happy hunting!

Updates today: Haunts and Bar Packs

Friday, December 4th, 2015

haunt_fridgesToday we’re issuing updates to the Haunts and Bar Pack affiliate vendors, including the Vital Blood Bar, the Moonshine Bar, the Cider Bar, and the Mega Bar Pack. If you own any of these bar packs, you will be automatically delivered updates to all of them. If you own the Vital Blood Bar, the Moonshine Bar, or the Cider Bar, these can also be updated at any Liquid Designs update terminal. The Haunt and the Mega Bar Pack can’t be updated at terminals because they contain the no-copy Haunt. If you own at least one Haunt or at least one Mega Bar Pack, you’ll be delivered an auto-updater for your Haunts. This auto-updater will update your Haunts in place. Just rez one copy of the auto-updater on any region where you have Haunts placed, touch it for the menu, and select ‘Update’, then wait for it to finish updating and reconnecting all of your Haunts. If you have a large number of Haunts on a single sim, you may need to run the update process more than once, as it can only update a limited number of Haunts at a time.

This update will make your Haunts more stable and reliable, and use fewer resources on your region. The Bar Pack affiliate vendors have also been updated with stability updates, and can now be used with Liquid Designs gift cards. If you own Haunts or Bar Pack affiliate vendors, please update them as soon as possible. If you don’t receive updates, and you believe you should have, please contact Lyle Maeterlinck. Happy Haunting, and Cheers!

Now that you can bond with multiple people, you can bond with anyone: your comrades, clan mates, lieges, or just your friends!

NEW! Blood and Lumen Altars

Wednesday, October 8th, 2014

The Blood and Lumen Altars allow you to make sacrifices of Blood, Lumens, or Humanity to a selected King, Queen, or Alpha. If they collect enough sacrifices, they can become “Deified” and gain a bonus status of Demigod or Demigoddess. The Lycan, Vampire, and Hybrid Demigod with the most sacrifices becomes a God or Goddess. Find out more in the Deities Guide Section, or the Altars gear page!

New Website Feature: Abyss Listing

Saturday, September 27th, 2014

Now you can view a list of Bloodlines players whose soul is in the Abyss in the stats section. This list is ordered by last login date, so people at the top of the list are players who have logged in recently. This is a new way to find souls that are floating around in the Abyss that only need a Hemlock to get them out.

The Abyss might be a scary place to go, but there are souls there for the taking if you decide to rescue them. (Just don’t tell them that the Hemlock potion tastes like black licorice and paint thinner!)

NEW! Mesh Spike 3.0 and Rampage Claw 2.0

Thursday, September 4th, 2014

Announcing the release of the new Spike 3.0 and Rampage Claw 2.0. These two attachments have been fully redesigned and updated to mesh. They also come loaded with the following updates:

  1. Reprogrammed amount choices with more convenient default options, including auto calculation of the maximum that can be moved between you and your victim, of either Humanity, Lumens, or Vital Blood, and the ability to enter custom amounts to move.
  2. Nine different default textures each, with more texture packs coming soon
  3. Customize your chat command channel
  4. Resizer script for more convenient fitting to your avatar.

If you own a Spike or Rampage Claw, you will be auto-delivered the update if you wear your current Spike or Rampage claw, or you can get a redelivery at any Liquid Designs update terminal.

The Soul Reaper 2.0

Tuesday, July 15th, 2014

Introducing the Soul Reaper version 2.0! This update includes one of the most common updates we get asked about: the ability to reap more than one soul at a time. For the initial release, you can reap souls in batches of up to 100 at a time, and 200 souls per day through the multi-reaps. These limits are set on the server side, and are subject to change. They might go up, they might go down in the future. We’ve also updated the design with a new mesh build with changeable textures, and more textures coming soon. Also, even though the soul reaper comes with modify permissions, we’ve included a resizing feature to make it easier to size your soul reaper to your avatar.

We’ve also made the soul reaper easier to customize. If you’re a creator who makes third-party Soul Reapers for Bloodlines players to move their scripts into, make sure you see the customization section in the new Soul Reaper instructions.

If you’re a current Soul Reaper owner, you should get an auto-update just by wearing your current Soul Reaper version. However, old versions back to version 1.4 will still work.
