Greetings Legends! We’re excited to announce a new quest for the season of love!

Bavmorda Strange, the Badlands curiosities shop owner needs your help, she and Pycer have been very flirty but he seems like he’s too nervous to make a move! Will you help her get a lover’s potion to give him some courage?

The quest rewards are listed on the flyer.

This quest starts with Bavmorda’s Heart Box in Bloodlines South.

This seasonal quest goes through the end of February

We are pleased to announce Season 3!

As with the last Season, you will earn points for doing challenges, the points increase a progress bar, and when you reach checkpoints you unlock rewards. Both Bloodlines and Legends activities are included in the challenges. The rewards are a wide mix including but not limited to: Bloodlines Products, Legends Products, Metrics, Resources, Rare Textures and Gift Cards.

The Seasons HUD is available for free in vendors at the landing areas in our regions and we’ll be doing a blast-out delivery to all current Bloodlines players. To be clear, you don’t have to have the HUD on to be earning progress, but you do need to wear it to unlock and claim your rewards.

SEASON PASS

There are plenty of checkpoints and rewards by default, but there are also bonus valuable items hidden behind ‘locked’ checkpoints. These can be unlocked by purchasing a Season Pass, which can be done either with L$ or with Season Pass Tokens which can be earned along the Season path of rewards.

REWARD OPTIONS

Certain rewards will have choices, for instance if one of the rewards is a Vial, when you collect it, you choose which kind of vial you want: Blood, Lumen, Human, Ether, or Ichor. Other rewards will have alternatives. For example, say a reward is the coffin, but you already own the coffin, you’ll be given the option to get some metrics instead.

METRIC CACHES & METRIC RESERVES

“Metric Reserves” can be given at various points, and these are metrics that you unlock immediately and can access at Refill Stations.

“Metric Caches” can be given at various points, and these are metrics that you store up and unlock if or when you finally complete the season progress bar.

CURRENT SEASON DURATION

The current season, Season Three, will run from midnight* on January 31st to midnight on March 31st, 2022.

*As with all of our releases, we do not award retroactive points or achievements. Progress on Seasons will begin tallying from the time of release onward.

We’ve put out a new Season 3 Themed Satchel. If you take your wand to the dome at Bloodlines Midland (or any of the other four domes) you can summon one for yourself before they go away!

Announcing Achievement Wave 5, which will be arriving on January 1! This wave features over 50 beautiful new badges you can earn, level up, and show off on your Bloodlines profile! This achievement wave includes the following achievements:

Adherent / Sacrificer: Altar sacrifices for blood, lumens, humanity, cider, ether, and ichor

Indemnifier / Guarantor: Mandrake potion usage for all races

Soul Conservator: Collect and fill soul trophies (existing collections will count)

Connoisseur / Epicure: Drinking Vital Blood, Moonshine, Ether, and Ichor bottles, and Cider Cans

Relentless: A new achievement where you can check in with Determined wells each hour, with no reset for missing one

Curator: Collect rare container textures (existing collections will count)

Ravenous: Unique all-time attacks of all 5 types: bite, claw, sap, exalt, and corrupt

Aficionado / Trafficker: Filling metric containers at refill stations

Soul Trader / Trafficker: Unique soul trades

As usual, all of these achievements start counting at release (midnight New Year’s Eve), unless otherwise specified above.

All of these achievements will also count in the monthly Soul War except for the following: Conservator (Soul Trophy collecting), Curator (Texture Collecting), Ravenous (All-time unique attacks), and Relentless. Soul Trader will count in the Soul War, but will not count towards Soul War Medals.

Regarding Soul Rarity, Ravenous and Soul Trader / Trafficker will be added to the category of achievements where a max of 4 points is possible, along with the Frenzy and Berserk achievements.

Also, an update to Legends War

We know that it has been difficult lately to discover new regions in Second Life, because most regions have already been discovered. Being unable to get this achievement makes it difficult to get the Completist texture at the end of the month. So, we are removing the Discoverer Achievement from Legends War effective January 1.

We’re excited to release a new set of rare textures for our containers today today! With the exception of the Tank textures, most of these have not been made available before.

There are machines at all 5 of our regions, locations below. This set will be available until midnight 12/31/21 at which time the machines will explode.
