Human HUD, Vials, Insignia, and Cider Barrels Released

We’re excited to announce the release of the following new Bloodlines items:

  1. The Human HUD
  2. The Blood Vial
  3. The Lumen Vial
  4. The Insignia
  5. Cider Barrels
  6. Cider Jug Refills
  7. Cider Siphon

    HI so far ive been able to test a few things and heres what i found. Iam a hybrid and i used the human hud but could not get the detector (radar) to turn off. me and my freind tried both viles. as hybrids i went first gave her both blood and lumen 1 then she tried to were the blood 1 and it wouldnt register after wearing mine. and the luem worked fine but on out bl padges my lumen vile shoes up on my page along with hers, and the blood vile dont show up on either.

    Hi lemming, you’re right, the detector doesn’t turn off on the Human HUD. We will be correcting that in an update shortly. Also, we have noticed that a number of blood vials are failing to register, which we are looking into. If you have a blood vial that failed to register, just send me a notecard or IM in-world, and I’ll get you a new one right away.

    I just checked out the human products and I noticed that the barrels cannot be refilled without using a siphon from another barrel. I am curious if adding actual apples will be implemented for a “juicing effect” to refill the cider barrels. I see that buying 5 liters worth of apples is L$280 while purchasing the already filled 5L barrel of cider is $499. Please advise. It may not be of interest to anyone else, but the numbers speak loudly to me.

    @ Atlantis – Right, $200 of the $499 is the actual barrel itself, so the cider inside is $299. You can also refill with the Cider Jug, which is $299. There is a 19 Linden discrepancy between these and eating apples (280 / 5 Liters, as you said) but there’s some labor in having to click and eat all those apples, so we thought it was only fair! Hope that helps.

    Amen to that Mars. any 1 thats ever tried to eat 10+ apples at a tiem can tell u they would fork over a lil more for that ease of life.

    I informed Effing about this but also i discovered that i cant us a blood bond ring and a huamn hud in the same day to give charisma. (hybrid)in theroy if it all works we should if bonded twice should be able to give out 5 points a day right.

    Hi Mars. Thank you for the response. Yes, paying L$19 lindens more for the same 5 liters is worth the time expense. My hat is tipped to you and your team for creating quite the business venture. It is too bad this isn’t a company that others can invest in via public stock offerings. Perhaps it is too soon to say, but you never know 😀 Happy New Year.

    Just wondering with the Human HUD, can they join an existing clan/pack/horde by lieging within that clan/pack/horde? And if so do they simply go into the group option and type in the name of the clan/pack/horde they wanna join? I was wondering cos there is also an option of ‘guild’ and wondered if they are totally separate grouping form the clan/pack/horde.

    yes the human hud wroks jsut like the rage or thrist. In thirst ull see clan, rage group, and huamn guild. Thiers no diffrnce in what the button dose u can leige the same regaurdles the hud u or ur leige have. Now if the top person in ur clan is a huaman and they make a Guild(clan) it will say ur in a guild, if top is lycan or lycan domanat ur in a hord, and finaly if ur top is a vamp ur in a clan. the huds all operate the same. 🙂

    My friend is human and wants to give blood to another one of our friends. It’s saying she needs the Thirst HUD to fill the Vial..is there anyway around that? or is it something that was just missed in the instructions?

    i have not tried thsi out but since u cant bite with a human hud it a deffinet no. as for a human tahts using the thrist hud u may be able to bit another palyer get blood and then put it in a vile whiel still staying human

    RE: The Insignia – currently it seems a tool for Clans, Packs, Hordes and Guilds, BUT not for Armies participating in Bloodlines WAR.

    To me, Insignia is such a part of modern warfare uniforms, I am suprised this product does not allow Armies to create their own, which to me, would also mandate a need to allow the wearer to choose to display either Clan/Pack OR their army Insignia (as many armies are made up of multiple clans/hordes.

    It be nice if we could choose our blood types, I personally would like mines to match my RL type. Unsure if it would be annoying to do or not.
