Official In-World Bloodlines Groups

January 24th, 2010 by Lyle Maeterlinck

We’d like to invite everyone to join the official Bloodlines groups in Second Life. There are three official groups:

  1. The Thirst: Bloodlines
  2. The Rage: Bloodlines
  3. Bloodlines War

These three groups can be used to discuss anything related to Bloodlines. However, please refrain from advertising events or products, and please be respectful to each other in these groups. Verbal abuse or harassment will not be tolerated.

There are many other Bloodlines groups that have been created for various purposes, and we encourage you to join the other groups if you like them and they enhance your experience. However, please keep in mind that the groups listed above are the only three official groups that are moderated by Bloodlines staff. If you have a question about any other Bloodlines group,  please contact the group owner.

On a personal note, I want to thank everyone who has taken it upon themselves to create and moderate Bloodlines related groups that fulfill a variety of purposes for Bloodlines players. I love to see everyone getting into the game and collaborating and communicating. However, in the interest of simplifying things, I’ve decided to limit my participation to the three official Bloodlines groups listed above. Many people have come to us with their ideas for additional Bloodlines groups and the services they provide. Feel free to create any groups you like related to Bloodlines, but keep in mind that we do not officially endorse any non-official groups.

Hi, I want to know how to register in Bloodlines, a new clan of vampires?
No English (through translator) clan name would be: “Clan Warriors of Blood.”
It would be the first Spanish clan of vampires, I think. I hope I can help. Thank you.

Quisiera que me dijeran donde hacerlo y los pasos para registrar un clan de vampiros nuevo.
I want to tell me where to do so and the steps to register a clan of new vampires.

  3. vidar Says:

i would like too know where can i buy the thrist system?.

  4. Mars Bracken Says:

@ Vidar – If you go to “Search” within second life, and type in “Bloodlines” or “vampire” or “fang”, in the results look for Bloodlines East or Bloodlines West, our two main vampire sims.

  5. Fawn Ruben Says:

I’ve been gone for so long…

  6. Stone Kytori Says:

Would it be terribly difficult to see who exactly is Destroyed within any given clan? I ask, because as a clan owner, I do my best to try to keep the number of Destroyed Vamps, Lycans and Hybrids to a minimum. I monitor my group stats through slbloodlines.com and it would be great if I could click the Destroyed tab at the top and see who has been Destroyed so that I can work with them to cure this if possible.

    Thanks for all you do!

  7. Mars Bracken Says:

@ Stone Kytori – Great suggestion. We’re currently working on some new tools to allow people to monitor their clan members status, including blood levels. We should have more info on this in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.

A very nice feature woud be if allies could be set within the hud, or the webpage ,for if i am correct part of the vampiric lifestyle besides hunting and war is familes.

Something i also would think would be a nice feature is some sort of way to get th ehunger vampires in a diffrnt coloured text as they get us. it can at least help to stay out of their way.
It seem strange to me that we are beeing hunted by them but cant see them or protect us.

  9. RAYBELL Jie Says:

    Medal frenzy:
A few weeks ago we were talking in my family on the subject of the medal to the frenzy, we set a goal, achieve it, but what was our surprise that one of the family members days ago, had bitten more than 25 people and I was not in your profile, send a notecard to Lyle and his answer was that it had turned off so that people were not biting out of control all over second life.
    My opinion is:
Before if I was crazy because there was no prohibition of the 14 days in SL. Do not you think now if you see the effort of a vampire in getting fresh victims? I say this because:
Q 1_ not have very good reputation within SL.
2_ know as the game system and give us the negative automatically.
3_ By submitting the bite, there is a lot more explanation than before, what happens to them and say no.
4_ SIMS are banned in so many, nor can bite through a prohibition on owners, prohibition of scripts or just vampires NO.

If you activate again the issue of medals, I think it’s a new way of motivation for all players in this system, because NOW IF YOU HAVE MERIT and people leave the issue to get souls as trophies to prove their worth and superiority over the other vampires (being the most alters, dead souls and false) and this system will prove who he really is a vampire and works for it, so show is the most lethal quen, superior or whatever you want to call.
    motivation, this system needs motivation.

this is a personal opinion, if someone has my same way of thinking that postee and haa me know as well as the creators of bloodlines, if they could give me would appreciate your opinion.
