Announcing Charisma, Bonds, Sending Blood, and Clan Management
September 7th, 2010 by Lyle MaeterlinckGet ready – this Saturday, we’re unveiling a new Bloodlines metric to strive for, and 3 exciting new items.
The new metric is Charisma, and it will be an indicator of influence. It won’t be based on current stats: everyone will start from zero. As time passes, the most influential players will be revealed. This addition will include an update to both the Thirst and the Rage HUDs. This new metric will not affect any of the current rankings in Bloodlines.
The new items are:
The Blood Bond / The Lumen Bond: This item is a partnering Bond that will link you through Vital Blood or Lumens to another player. In addition to the symbolic bonding in SL and on the web profile, there are game perks for the bonded players.
The Coffin / The Sarcophagus: In addition to being functional prim furniture with animations, this item will allow you to transfer blood or lumens instantly to anyone, even if they’re offline.
The Blood Scan / The Lumen Scan: This scanner provides a web-based clan management system that will help you keep tabs on your minions and your souls and help you track your progress over time. Scan for Minions in need of blood, liege changes, and more.

Is there more info on the new items? I’m very interest in the Blood/Lumen bond. Will members of the different species be able to bond together (vamp to lycan, lycan to human, etc)?

Can u explain more what charisma points are on the website? Like have a section in game guide saying what they are for. Like what they do, what is an ‘indicator of influence’, what is that influence and what does it mean to have it?
I just wanna work out what the point of them are is all and if they make a difference to your avatar at all.

I have a suggestion for the Charisma Points. I understand capping them to a point, however, what if they were capped so that you could only give 2 per Vampire however up to 10 per day. I don’t think this sounds excessive as I feel that allowing only 1 point per day to be distributed is very low.
I think this is a good way to revive what has become possibly stale to some. The coffin is a fabulous addition especially for those holding many souls. Those, like me, who come on here to check their family members..thank you for it.

I am still owndering what this ‘influence’ is. Is it simply ranking to be in a table? I like the sound of them for sure, just not sure what they do apart from put your name in like a league table.

I understand that there is a means of ‘clan management”, will someone please tell me how to engage this? i want to eject someone from a clan.

the only way i know of is to have their leige ban mnion using there hud. Bye clan manegment it means if every 1 had a scanner the king could look at his scanner and any leiged to him scanners also. then any under those ect ect
